Read moreColumbus city leaders are kicking off the 2024 Columbus Trash Off Event by urging all citizens to join in the annual citywide clean-up campaign. Each spring local citizens work together to clean-up the Columbus community from March through May by picking up litter, cleaning roadsides and parks, planting trees and flowers, painting fences, mowing vacant lots, helping neighbors with clean-up jobs, beautifying their homes and lawns, and removing debris. The spring cleanup campaign is part of the annual Keep Texas Beautiful statewide clean-up.
