Ozanian said the yearly All-Star Meet is an extremely fast event and swimmers competing in the meet work out through the entire year.

“For our kids to do so well with only two months of training is very impressive,” Ozanian said.

He added that he could not be prouder of the swimmers this year and was excited that the CATfish season went so well and that they were so close to having an unblemished record.

The CATfish finished the season 3-1 with wins at La Grange, at Schulenburg and against La Grange at Columbus.

“We were only four points away from winning the second meet against Schu-lenburg at Columbus,” Ozanian said.

Ozanian concluded that this year’s Columbus CATfish swim team should be proud of their accomplishments.

“Overall, we had a great year in competition,” Ozanian said. “We won our division and won the Meet of Champions. Columbus should be proud of the CATfish and we look forward to next year.”

Assisting in instructing the CATfish swim team in WHALE?competition this season were assistant coaches Peggy Harrison and Kelsey Aschenbeck.
