Raiders defeat Longhorns to advance to state semi-finals
The Rice Raider varsity football team defeated the George West Longhorns 26-13 in a Class 2A Division I Region IV Quarterfinal Saturday, Nov. 29 at Memorial Stadium in Victoria.
The 12-0 Raiders will now take on the 10-0 Kirbyville Wildcats in a Class 2A Division 1 state semi-final at Turner Stadium in Humble Friday, Dec. 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets will be $4 for students and $7 for adults at any school within the district. Tickets are $7 at the gate.
