Read moreStarting Wednesday, Mar. 25, Glidden Baptist Church (located at the corner of Colorado and 8th St. in Glidden), will distribute “plates of grace.” These will be absolutely free plates of food for you and your family in a drive-thru line in the church parking lot. The meal distribution will begin at 6:30 p.m. They will not limit the number of meals per car. This will take place each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday starting at 6:30 p.m. This is a drive-thru function only. The meals are being distributed Monday- Friday from 10 a.m- noon at the Columbus Junior High School campus during the school closure. Each meal package will contain lunch for the day, and breakfast for the following morning. This is available to all CISD students regardless of meal pay status.
