Read moreThe City of Columbus saw a substantial increase in sales tax payments for the month of December. At the Dec. 12 Columbus City Council meeting, City Manager Donald Warschak reported the December sales tax payment was $156,886.28, an increase of $15,677.56 from last year’s December payment of $141,208.72. Warschak said Weimar and Colorado County reported increases as well, however, the City of Eagle Lake experienced a decrease.
