Artist Toni Conner started painting in January of 2020 when she took a class with her mother, who lives with Alzheimer’s. Her mom never went back to the class, but Toni was hooked. She started painting with acrylics but quickly moved to oils, at the suggestion of her instructor, Marchita Priest. Once she moved into her Columbus home full time, she concentrated on selfstudy, with the occasional online course.
