These days we pull out our smartphones and show each other pictures, news feeds, facebook posts and try to figure out if anybody actually plays Candy Crush. Regardless of the times the children actually learned a lot about the ups and downs of life and how to socialize in a real world. The kitchen table was a place of learning.
