No fatalities or injuries occured when a plane crashed near Eagle Lake Municipal Airport Saturday, July 17. Eagle Lake City Manager Melissa Landin reported that she was notified of the crash at approximately 8:24 a.m. Saturday morning. The plane came to a halt in a ditch parallel to the airport runway.
