Everything started with bullying. I was bullied for about six years until I moved schools. I met different people, but I chose the wrong people. I began taking drugs and then I became a bully. I thought all of that would make me feel better, but it really didn’t. In fact, I felt worse.

Randy Thumann and K9 partner Kolt, stopped a Black Ford Escape on Hwy 290 near Deer Haven Lane at approximately 3 p.m. for a traffic violation. After speaking to the driver many criminal indicators were observed and consent to search the vehicle was obtained. Thumann deployed his canine “Kolt” to conduct an exterior sweep of the vehicle. Kolt alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics. Thumann and Smith located an aftermarket compartment built into the windshield cowling of the vehicle. Thumann and Smith accessed the compartment and removed five bags of meth with a street value of $400,000.
