Columbus ISD students returned to school for the new year Aug. 31. Grades pre-K through second are on staggered in-person schedules, and grades three through 12 are remote until the week of Sept. 14.

It’s a tough program; some are asked to leave and others choose to return home. I, however, plan to finish the cycle.
