FCF’s 2023 Community Impact Grant cycle opens September 1st and closes September 30th, accessible through its new online portal. Read moreAustin County Regional Special Response Team (SRT) executed an arrest warrant Thursday August 10, 2023 at approximately 11:00 am at the 1900 block of Bowie Street in Columbus, Texas. The operation was the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation by the Westside High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA), a Narcotics Task Force. Suspect by the name of Ray Coleman age 43, was located and arrested on active warrant for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. This task force covers four counties and is comprised of investigators from Austin County Sheriff’s Office, Bellville PD, Sealy PD, Hempstead PD, Waller County Sheriff’s Office, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, and DEA. The Colorado County Attorney’s Office assisted with the investigation along with local authorities joining to assist with the operation as well.
