Read moreDALLAS – The Columbus FFA program had a quality showing in the FFA state speaking competitions at the Annual Texas FFA Convention. Alley Fitzgerald represented Columbus as she delivered a compelling performance in her two categories to take a top ten placement in each. She took an eighth-place finish in the Soil and Water Stewardship speaking competition for one of her top placements. Her other finish was an even higher-quality finish as she took a top three spot in Extemporaneous speaking. Fitzgerald took the bronze in that competition to round out her day and claim a medal for Columbus FFA.
