Delaney’s favorite class and teacher is Spanish with Coach Wagner. Outside of school, Delaney spends her time playing softball on her select team. Read moreThe Columbus powerlifting teams took the top five spots Jan. 20 in a match up of muscle and weightlifting strategy. This was the first meet for the 2021 year and the Cardinals are off to a good start. Coach Keith Cubit released the standings for the first meet of the year. Lady Card Melanie Hernandez took first place and regional qualified. Lady Cardinal Zoe Pore took fifth place. Cardinal Oscar Ramirez took second place in the boys division. Trent Kohleffel, Zachary Nelson, and Connor Geisler took third place in each of their weight class. Josh Everett and Logan Hinson finished in fourth place.

Nunu Wilson had 10 total points and five steals and Brady Henke hooped it for nine points. Felix Sanchez came away with six total points and three steals and Clayton Nunnelly scored three total points.

Tyvone Whitehead and Trinity Thompson each had four points, followed by Jayden Trapp with two points.
