When asked about the victory Coach Albers said, “We jumped ahead 15-6 and never looked back.” In the end, that lead was enough to earn the Lady Cards a 51-31 victory. The high scorer for the game was Mathis with nine points. Tribe brought home eight points and Upson scored seven. The victory over Industrial will advance Columbus to 16-3 for the season and 9-1 in the division. All future games are being rescheduled due to the current COVID condition. Anyone wanting to know more about upcoming events will need to check the Columbus ISD’s website for dates and times.

Both A and B team players made up the roster for this match-up as there was no eighth B game. Cleveland had 15 points for the match-up, followed by Post with eight, and Brown with seven.
