The Lady Cardinal soccer team hasn’t played a game since last Tuesday when they dropped a game against the Bellville Brahmanettes 9-1. COVID seems to be playing its own game against various teams causing rescheduling headaches. Columbus scored one goal by senior Nancy Hernandez with an assist from junior Cecilia Chavira. Junior goalkeeper Remi Vallone had 19 saves. Coach Ross Macha says, “We have a tough week ahead of us with games against Sealy on Tuesday (Feb. 2), Sealy on Wednesday (Feb. 3), and Harmony School of Discovery on Friday(Feb. 5).”
