Read moreThe Weimar Ladycat volleyball team continues to battle through the 2022 season as they get ready to start up district play. Last week, the Ladycats got two strong wins against nearby opponents as their final tune up for a district championship run. Weimar beat Faith Academy by way of a sweep but had a much tougher time in their second match of the week against Round Top-Carmine. Weimar was still able to come away with the win and put themselves in a position to have momentum going into the district season. Vs Faith Academy, W, 3-0 Faith Academy struggled to make this match competitive with the Ladycats. Weimar locked in on defense and never allowed their opponents to score 12 or more points in any set on the way to the sweep. Weimar beat Faith Academy in three straight sets by 25-11, 25-6 and 25-10.
