Council administers oaths, approves proclamations

COLUMBUS – The Columbus City Council held a regular meeting on Monday, May 22.

During the meeting, the Oath of Office for newly elected officials was administered to Mayor Lori An Gobert, Keith Cummings for City Council Place 1, and Ronny Daley for City Council Place 2.

Council also took action and approved the following appointments: Leonard Peters as Municipal Court Judge, Stan Warfield as Associate Municipal Court Judge, Luke Cochran as City Prosecutor, Bovey & Cochran, PLLC as City Attorney, Brent A. Gorman as City Fire Marshall, Bart Klaus as City Public Health Officer.
