I am 54 years old and have been the Accounts Payable Clerk for Colorado County since March 2022. I worked at St. Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange from 2011 to 2022. While at the church, I was the Receptionist, Financial Secretary and finally Office Manager. I also worked part time at Le Petite Gourmet Shoppe in La Grange for 20+ years. These jobs helped form my exceptional customer service skills and my strong business and financial background.
The hometown values I was raised with set me apart from other candidates. I am honest, respectful, friendly, and hard working. I will learn the job and work side by side with the knowledgeable staff that is in place. I believe that with more cross training, the entire staff - including myself, will be able to perform any task required, therefore reducing the amount of time it takes to fulfill each customer’s needs.
Voters should trust me because I am one of them. Whether I see them on the street or in the office, I will treat them as my neighbors. I will put in the work to learn everything required to perform the duties of the Tax Assessor- Collector. I will do my best every day to assist the citizens of Colorado County with the professionalism and respect that they deserve.
