Softball team dedicates game, first pitch to Turtle Wing

Turtle Wing Foundation member Emma threw out a strike for the first pitch at the Schulenburg softball game on Tuesday, March 19 as part of the school’s Turtle Wing Game.

Turtle Wing’s mission is “helping individuals with learning challenges in rural areas achieve their full potential,” and Turtle Wing Games are part of the foundation’s education and advocacy efforts.

Turtle Wing partners with local high school baseball and softball teams to allow a child enrolled in special education to be the star of the show and throw out the first pitch.
