The Wellness Council of Greater Colorado Valley will be holding an awards ceremony and reception at the Live Oak Art Center for their “Stop Bullying” art contest on Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Having started Oct. 1, over 350 art creations submitted by children in Colorado County schools K-12, are up for display in the Upper Gallery of the Live Oak Center.
The art pieces reflect the views of how children in Colorado County regard bullying, what a bully looks like, how bullying makes them feel and how to stand up and speak out against bullying.
