Causes $700+ in damages
An unidentified woman was allegedly recorded pouring bleach all over the meat section of the Brookshire Brothers on 1400 Fannin St. in Columbus April 7.
The Columbus Police Department are currently investigating the situation for Criminal Mischief after the incident occurred at 12:35 p.m. that day.
The unknown female walked by the meat display according to Colorado County Crimestoppers and the Columbus Police Department and poured bleach all over the meat before leaving the store through the cash registers.
The seemingly random act caused damages in excess of $700 to the meat products, posing a significant threat to the public.
At this time, no other information has been uncovered by the CPD, the investigating agency, and are asking the public, alongside the Colorado County Crimestoppers, for any tips related to the crime.
