The Wellness County of the Greater Colorado Valley, Colorado County Habitat for Humanity and Columbus Country Market combined efforts to host the Community Connections Day event held at the Colorado County Courthouse Square on Saturday, April 26.
Vendors filled the square lawn with the weather being perfect for a morning full of activities, including live music, various demonstrations, birdhouse building, informative health sessions including A1C tests and blood donations, vendor bingo and more.
Taking place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (the Country Market ending at 12 p.m.), the event is a conjoined effort to encourage community building and networking, alongside providing a free outlet for health resources for anyone in attendance.
