Only five members from the Columbus High School Class of 1953 were in attendance at the 72nd class reunion out of 49 classmates. Only 13 are currently alive with the reunion remembering the 36 classmates who have passed away. Out of the 13 current classmates, eight were unable to attend due to health conditions.
