MAR. 28, 2025

At 10:35 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1000 block of Houston St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 12:40 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 1:25 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1400 block of Crockett St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 3:40 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1000 block of Spring St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.

10:20 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 10:27 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1300 block of Preston St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

MAR. 29, 2025

At 7:40 am Sgt. Blair responded to the 1000 block of Walnut in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 12:25 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 1100 block of Jackson St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 3:41 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.

At 9:02 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1600 block of Fannin in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, Geraldo Hernandez of Columbus was arrested for Public Intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

MAR. 30, 2025

At 12:05 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 4300 block of I-10 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

At 6:40 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 10:40 am Sgt. Blair responded to the 900 block of Prairie St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 12:30 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 1500 block of Back St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and all was found secure.

At 3:45 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 2200 block of Walnut St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.

At 6:24 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 700 block of Crockett St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 8:04 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2300 block of Walnut St in reference to reckless driving. The vehicle was not located.

At 11:57 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 900 block of Walnut in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

MAR. 31, 2025

At 1:30 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 6:05 am Sgt. Blair responded to the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 7:07 am Sgt. Blair responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 7:52 am Det. Kent responded to the 100 block of Krupka in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 8:04 am Sgt. Blair responded to the 1400 block of Crockett St in reference to an unwanted person. After further investigation, Tyron Scott of Columbus was arrested for a parole warrant and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 1:25 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 1200 block of Walnut in reference to possible harassment. Information was received.

At 2:53 pm Lt. Lara responded to the 100 block of Railroad Ave in in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, Amy Johnson of Columbus was arrested for a parole warrant and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 4:30 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

APR. 1, 2025

At 1:18 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 400 block of Spring St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 12:33 pm Lt. Lara responded to the 1600 block of Fannin in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 1:17 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 1600 block of Back St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.

At 11:35 pm Ofc. Avalos conducted a traffic stop on the 700 block of Walnut in reference to a traffic violation. After further investigation, Nicholas Ontiveros was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

APR. 2, 2025

At 12:28 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious person. After further investigation, Geraldo Hernandez of Columbus was arrested for Public Intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 3:00 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 3:50 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

APR. 3, 2025

At 2:31 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 8:40 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2000 block of Milam St in reference to an escort.

At 9:35 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 300 block of Walnut in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 4:00 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 8:45 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 500 block of Spring St in reference to an escort.

At 9:40 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 11:00 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Hickory Ln in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 11:15 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.

At 12:15 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Railroad Ave in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 3:45 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to possible Theft. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 10:16 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to possible harassment. Information was received.

APR. 5, 2025

At 2:50 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1400 block of Crockett St in reference to Threats. After further investigation, Edward Hernandez of Columbus was arrested for deadly conduct and taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 12:08 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Fannin in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 12:29 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 900 block of Fannin St in reference to an escort.

At 4:00 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 5:52 pm Sgt. Blair responded to the 1500 block of Sunset Dr in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.

At 9:33 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the intersection of Fannin and Crockett St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 10:21 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

APR. 6, 2025

At 9:34 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Walnut in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 11:41 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to a possible assault. After further investigation, Darvin Ashton of Columbus was arrested for Assault Family/Household member previous conviction and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 2:38 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to possible Theft. Information was received, case pending.

Apr. 7, 2025 At 2:30 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 3:00 pm Ofc. Salinas assisted Texas DPS Tropers on the 3200 block of Columbus Loop in reference to a vehicle accident.

At 4:20 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1400 block of Fannin St in reference to criminal mischief. Information was received.
