The Weimar Wildcats had a fantastic baseball season that saw them make many steps in their development.

They also had three players selected to the Academic All-State team which means they maintained a 3.5 or higher GPA.

To be able to handle the demanding schedule of being an athlete as well as schoolwork given out and whatever other extra activity these kids have like a job or something not in athletics but still after school. It can be challenging to say the least and physically and mentally grueling.

These kids welcome the challenge as student athletes though, they have found a way to translate their competitiveness from the field, court, track or course into the classroom.

The three players that were selected were Logan Kainer, Camden Morrsion and Huxton Kloesel. All three of these kids also play multiple different sports as well so that made this challenge of maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA while being a top-level athlete just a little bt harder.

Despite that fact these young men have found away to be competitive off of the field as well as on the field. For that they have been recognized by the Texas High School Coaches Association.

Congratulations to all three of these athletes for earning Academic All-State Honors.

Huxton Kloesel was selected to the Academic All-State team for Weimar.
