In the April 30 edition of the Colorado County Citizen, it was incorrectly stated that the jail time for Aaliyah Dominiq Almanza was given credit for 45 days of a 90-day jail sentence after pleading guilty to the manslaughter death of 8-year-old Tyler Joe Blair.
As a condition of the sentencing by Judge William D. Old, Almanza will serve 90 consecutive days in addition to any time already served and will also serve Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter as well as July 16-18 during her 10-year probationary period. The Citizen regrets the error.
