Sincere appreciation goes out to all of the businesses and families that treated the SAS faculty and staff to many different goodies during Teacher Appreciation Week. The breakroom was overflowing with everything from breakfast tacos and cinnamon rolls to beautiful floral arrangements and candies. After school ice cream, Sonic drinks, shaved ice, and Whataburger coupons were sweet gestures for the staff as well. The faculty and staff are humbled by such generosity.
A 5th grade Saint set a new SAS track record this Spring. Genesis Trujillo gave it her all and ran a record time of 8:55 in the 1600 meter run, earning herself a spot on the SAS Track Record board. Additionally, Saints that earned awards in the Diocese of Victoria Tennis tournament results were Jace Tribe/Cormac Barten - 1st place doubles, Kyle Glueck/John Neal - 3rd place doubles, and Samuel Gonzales/Hayes Kridel - 4th place doubles.
