Columbus State Bank and Hill Bank & Trust Award Spirit Scholarships handed out to local students

Columbus State Bank and Hill Bank & Trust Co. are proud to announce the recipients of their inaugural scholarship award, given to two exceptional local high school seniors—one from Columbus High School and one from Weimar High School.

This year’s recipients are William Fitzgerald of Columbus High School and Camden Morrison of Weimar High School.

The Bank Scholarship is awarded to a senior chosen by the faculty at each campus who exemplifies the very best of school pride, leadership, and sense of community. These students are recognized for their unwavering spirit — Go Big Red for Columbus and Wildcat Spirit for Weimar—demonstrating the character and enthusiasm that make them stand out among their peers.

“We’re honored to support students who represent the heart of their schools,” said Charlie Bittner, CEO and Chairman. “These students not only excel in their studies and activities but also inspire others through their dedication to their school and community.”

Columbus State Bank and Hill Bank & Trust Co. are proud to continue supporting the growth and success of local youth, investing in the bright future of Columbus, Weimar, and our surrounding communities. Congratulations to the graduating class of 2025.
