COLUMBUS — With graduation now over, the Columbus Chamber of Commerce will soon say goodbye to our Class of 2025 Junior Ambassador, Brooklyn Eden. As part of the Chamber’s annual Junior Ambassador Scholarship program, it was time to select a new representative from the Columbus High School sophomore class.

The program is open to students entering 11th grade at Columbus ISD, including public, private, and home school students. After a competitive application and interview process, we are proud to announce Amiah Guthrie as our new Chamber Junior Ambassador.

Amiah brings an impressive level of involvement and dedication to both her school and community. “I am involved in Science Club, Cheer, AVID, and I’m a library aid,” she shared. “Each of these reflects a different part of me—my love of science, my school spirit, my drive to succeed academically, and my passion for literature.”

She also volunteers regularly, supporting TLC during bingo nights and Halloween parades, mentoring young cheerleaders through CYFCL, tutoring peers, and more. “I enjoy helping the community and allowing everyone to shine in their most authentic selves,” she said.
