In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), members of the Colorado County Child Welfare Board and community partners attended a special Proclamation reading at the Colorado County courthouse. In the last two years fewer than two dozen children in Colorado County have been victims of abuse and neglect thanks to the tireless efforts of all those in the community who work to keep our children safe.
