MAY 8, 2025

At 5:50 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1300 block of Walnut in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 6:50 am Det. Kent responded to the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 8:39 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 5:36 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 400 block of Preston St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 11:16 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

MAY 9, 2025

At 4:34 am Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1000 block of Walnut in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 8:37am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 10:19 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Smith St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 3:04 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1500 block of Fannin St in reference to a possible assault. After further investigation, Mason Mcinnis and Nathan Garamillo of Columbus were arrested for disorderly conduct fighting and were taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 5:51 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1000 block of Milam in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

MAY 10, 2025

At 9:15 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1500 block of Fannin in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 10:00 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1200 block of Live Oak in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 12:55 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2300 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an escort.

At 2:10 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.

At 4:42 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 5:07 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

MAY 11, 2025

At 2:25 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Milam in reference to possible theft. After further investigation, the subject was located, issued a criminal trespass warning, and removed from the property.

At 6:35 pm Lt. Lara conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Hwy 71 and Crossroads Blvd in reference to a vehicle violation. After further investigation, Tyler Fortin of Sevierville was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

MAY 12, 2025

At 6:15 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1000 block of New World Dr in reference to possible assault. Information was received.

At 10:40 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 300 block of Walnut in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 11:40 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 400 block of Smith St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 3:00 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1200 block of Prairie St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 4:36 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 5:15 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was not located.

At 10:15 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Burford St in reference to possible criminal mischief. Information was received.

At 10:45 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

MAY 13, 2025

At 3:56 am Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2100 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 9:25 am Sgt. Wilson along with Det. Kent responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, the subject was found deceased. Justice of the Peace Billy Hefner arrived on scene and stated the time of death and ordered an autopsy.

At 11:45 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 4:08 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Live Oak in reference to a 911 hang-up. The officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

MAY 14, 2025

At 5:05 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to possible harassment. Information was received.

At 6:32 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was gone upon arrival.

At 9:29 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 11:31 pm Sgt. Neumann responded to the 100 block of Veteran Dr in reference to a welfare concern. After further investigation, Carlos Sosa was arrested for public intoxication and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

MAY 15, 2025

At 11:18 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1000 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and all was found to be in order.

At 12:34 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 800 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 12:45 pm Det. Kent responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to possible counterfeit bills. Information was received.

At 10:49 pm Ofc. Avalos responded to the 1100 block of New World Dr in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located and all was found to be in order.
