The Columbus Cardinals baseball team saw 10 of their players selected to the All-District team for the 2025 season.
Two players were selected to the 1st All-District team, three were selected to the 2nd All-District team, and five were selected as Honorable Mentions.
The first two players selected to the 1st All-District team were Brody Tribe as an infielder and Wyatt Tipton as a pitcher. Tribe was relied on a lot this season for the Cardinals in several areas of the field.
He was a big-time hitter and even spent some time on the bump for the Cards, but he did most of his damage at first base position. Hs catch radius was remarkable, coupled with his height and athleticism the Cards had a truly great player on their roster.
Next was Tipton who spent most of his time this season on the bump for the Cardinals. He was their ace this season and shattered all expectations.
He’s got a deep bag of pitches he can throw at batter’s and even when he found himself in a sticky situation on the mound, he was always calm, cool and collected.
The best news about this for Cardinal baseball fans is that both of these players are juniors this year and will be back for their senior season looking to be even better.
The 2nd All-District team saw Ayden Carter, Britton Wolters and Ryan Carter all get selected. All three of these players were a big part of what the Cardinals accomplished this season, which included a 14-win season and a playoff appearance.

The Honorable Mentions selected were Lane Kulhanek, Devin Oppermann, Weston Krpec, Ty Wiggs and Kannon Rooks. These five showed the depth the Cardinals have on their roster.
The only senior selected was Kulhanek, one was a sophomore, and the rest were freshmen. So, this is good news for Cardinal fans because it a positive sign for the future, this team has talented underclassmen on the roster and next season they will look to be even better.
Congratulations to all of the Cardinals selected to the All-District team.
