COLUMBUS – The Columbus Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 2025 Regional Business Summit on Monday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hound Song Brewing Co., 535 Walnut Street in Columbus.

This full-day event will feature expert insights from Clif Lange, General Manager of South Texas Electric Cooperative Inc.; Larry McManus with the Office of the Governor, Economic Development & Tourism; and Bailey Marshall, Founder of The Security Rex. Topics will focus on energy, economic development, and technology, with breakout sessions and networking opportunities throughout the day.

As the region continues to grow, these three sectors—energy, economic development, and technology—are playing a critical role in shaping our future. From expanding broadband access and infrastructure to driving business investment and workforce innovation, leaders in each area will share strategies, opportunities, and challenges that directly impact rural and small-town communities like Columbus and the surrounding area. The summit aims to bring stakeholders together for meaningful dialogue and collaboration that supports long-term regional success.

The event is free and open to the public, with lunch provided for those who RSVP. All are welcome to attend and be part of the conversation shaping our region’s future.

For more information or to RSVP, contact the Columbus Chamber of Commerce at 979732-8385 or assist@columbustexas.
