COLORADO COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT

Sheriff’s Report

TUESDAY, APR. 1

At approximately 8:24 a.m., deputy Smith was dispatched to the 1900 block of CR 111, Garwood, in reference to a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, a yellow in color dump truck was fully engulfed and the Garwood Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. Case information only.

WEDNESDAY, APR. 2

At approximately 9:00 a.m., deputy Weido met with a complainant on Arthur Street in Garwood in reference to Criminal Mischief. Information was taken to conduct an investigation. The case is active.

At approximately 3:25 p.m., deputy Moulder was notified about found property located at the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office in Columbus. After further investigation, the property was shipped to the correct jurisdiction to be recovered by the owner. Case is cleared.

THURSDAY, APR. 3

At approximately 9:14 a.m., deputy Navarro was dispatched to the 1100 block of Flower Hill Road, Alleyton, in reference to an unwanted subject. After further investigation, information was received and a criminal trespass warning was issued to a subject. Case is cleared.

At appropriately 10:08 a.m., deputy Lopez was informed of an inmate suffering from Mental Illness in the Colorado County Jail. After further investigation, the inmate was later transported to a psychiatric facility for treatment. Case is cleared.

FRIDAY, APR. 4

At approximately 5:21 p.m., deputy Leihardt was dispatched to a public service reference threatening phone calls in the 3000 block of Third Street in Rock Island. After further investigation, information was received and advice given. Case closed by information report.

SATURDAY, APR. 5

At approximately 8:05 a.m., deputy Leihardt was dispatched to the 1000 block of CR 118 in Rock Island in reference to property damage. Information was received and the scene documented. Case open.

At approximately 9:16 a.m., deputy Leihardt was dispatched to the 1000 block of Red Dog Lane,Weimar, in reference to damage to property. After further investigation, information was received and a report was taken. Case information only.

At approximately 5:52 a.m., deputy Cantu was dispatched to a single motor vehicle accident located at the intersection of FM 2434 and CR 213, Weimar, Tx. After further investigation, Cassidy Rodriguez, age 27, of Weimar, Tx, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated - Misdemeanor “B”, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <1G - State Jail Felony, and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2>=4G<400G - 2nd Degree Felony. Case cleared by adult arrest.

At approximately 10:39 a.m., deputy Schoppe was dispatched to 1060 Jerrell Coffee Road, Columbus, in reference to a burglary of a habitation. Report was taken. Case is active.

SUNDAY, APR. 6

At approximately 2:15 a.m., deputy Johnson was sitting by Cavender Ford on the South Feeder IH-10, Alleyton, and observed a black sedan pass by travelling east. He turned around and got behind the vehicle and performed a traffic stop. After further investigation a report was taken and Asontie Perrino, 47, of Columbus was arrested on multiple charges.
