GFCF unveils 2025 lineup of grants, events, celebrations

The Greater Fayette Community Foundation (GFCF) is excited to share a full lineup of opportunities, events, and celebrations happening across our region in 2025 and we want you to be a part of it! Whether you’re a nonprofit leader, community champion, business owner, or passionate resident, there are plenty of ways to get involved, support local initiatives, and connect with others creating real change in Rural South Central Texas.

• Apply Now: Community Impact Grants Are Open Deadline: June 30 at 5 p.m. Learn more and apply at: www.greaterfayette.com/ community-impact If your organization is making a difference in our rural communities, now is the time to apply for a Community Impact Grant. These grants are designed to support programs that improve quality of life and spark long-term impact right here at home.

• Mark Your Calendar: Day of Education 2025 Date: Nov. 12 Where: Jordan Ranch, Schulenburg Theme: Rejuvenation This year’s Day of Education is all about YOU. We’re creating a one-of-a-kind experience for rural nonprofits to pause, refocus, and return stronger. With inspiring conversations, space for reflection, and practical tools, this day is designed to reignite your purpose and breathe new energy into your work.

• Celebrate Local Changemakers: Community Keyholder Awards Dinner Date: Sept. 18 Where: The Ice Plant Building, La Grange We’re rolling out the red carpet to honor the people and organizations unlocking real change in our region. Join us for the Community Keyholders Awards Dinner, where the group will recognize one outstanding nonprofit, business, and individual who has been nominated by the community for their impact and leadership.

This is a night of gratitude, storytelling, and celebration, and everyone is invited.
