Weimar track superstar Katharina Chaloupka won the State Championship in the pole vault event this year after clearing a height of 12’6”. It was a special moment for her, and the moment just got even more special after being named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Super Elite team. Chaloupka is a talented athlete that is looking to continue her track career at the college level but out of state. It’s a good thing for her because she has proven everything that needed to be proved in Texas and is leaving as one of the best to ever do it in Texas.
