Taylor Smith was the lone Ladycat selected to be on the Academic All-State team. That means she was one of the best players in the State and had a 92 GPA or higher on a 100point scale. This is no easy feat especially considering that Smith played this season like Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Otani as she was a factor on the mound and the batter’s box this season and was even more fierce in the classroom.
