The Texas Press Association Awards Ceremony took place June 19 – June 21, where the Colorado County Citizen took home multiple awards. The Citizen placed 1st in both Page Design and Best Magazine, as well as taking 2nd place in Sports Coverage, 3rd place in General Excellence and 4th place in Feature Writing.
