The Rice Consolidated FFA Summer Kids Farmers Market in Garwood came together this Saturday to donate all their proceeds to those affected in the Texas Hill Country floods. The kids and their families worked hard all week making homemade goodies and items to sell. Including: fresh eggs, produce, jelly and jam, fresh lemonade, homemade ice cream, kolaches, dips, breakfast tacos, baked goods, salty treats, memorial bracelets and even baby chicks! The proceeds will be added to our gift card collection and forwarded to Ag teachers in the affected communities to be distributed to families that are in need. Thank you so much to all these kids and families showing the meaning of what Living to Serve means in our motto. Courtesy photo
