The Huddle
Hello, everyone and welcome back to The Huddle where today I will be talking about the new College Football game.
Now I know most people reading this probably do not have any interest in video games but I promise just bear with me because it is pretty exciting stuff I will be talking about.
So in the College Football game players are allowed to play a game mode called “Road to Glory”. In this game mode players create themselves and play through their college career winning games, building up stats and hopefully winning a National Championship to cap off your college football career like every great player.
This year though, EA Sports has added a new feature to the Road to Glory game mode and that allows players to play at the High School level, build up their resume and get recruited by colleges to play football at their school. The cool part is there is a way to play as every Colorado County High School in the Road to Glory game mode.
The Columbus Cardinals, Rice Raiders and the Weimar Wildcats are all available as options for players to play High School football at. Not only is the school’s name an option, but they also have the fields in the game as well as the team’s actual uniforms.
I personally have started a Road to Glory save file with each Columbus, Rice and Weimar because while I enjoy my job as the Sports Editor here at the season it was kind of fun to be able to put myself in the role of the athlete and kind of get a glimpse of what they deal with during High School.
For those interested in playing as Columbus, Rice or Weimar and you have the new College Football game then all you have to do is tab over to the download section in the main menu and search for your Colorado County school and start playing.
