They attended the weeklong Annual American Legion Girls State Conference at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. At the conference, the students learned about local, state and national politics. They also conducted mock elections for various levels of government. Also picture with Natalia and Emerson are left to right, Gerald Smith, Dallas Canada, Herb Fish and Logan Forrest, who are members of the American Legion Riders and provided an escort for the students to the conference.
