At this week’s city council meeting, Mayor Timothy Kelley recognized and thanked Clinton “Buddy” Mascheck for 52 incredible years of service to our community as a volunteer firefighter. Being a firefighter is one of the most honorable and selfless roles, and the city of Eagle Lake is forever grateful for Mascheck’s dedication. For over five decades, he stood ready—day or night—to put his life on the line to protect others. His commitment and courage as a volunteer firefighter is truly inspiring.
