COLUMBUS POLICE NEWS

JUNE 20

At 11:30 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to possible Theft. Information was received, case pending.

At 12:08 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 300 block of North St in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 3:13 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2400 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 6:56 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

June 21 At 12 :40 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 6:24 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 300 block of North St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 2:30 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 8:00 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 900 block of Robson St in reference to a possible Theft. Information was received.

At 8:39 pm Ofc. Godfrey responded to the 700 block of Prairie St in reference to a Theft. Information was received.

At 11:52 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 11:39 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1400 block of Fannin St in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

JUNE 22

At 4 :11 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 8:27 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Lt. Lara, responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

JUNE 23

At 9:45 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 500 block of Spring St in reference to an escort.

At 2:10 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 6:54 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1200 block of Montezuma St in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 4:41 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 10:11 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

JUNE 24

At 7 :38 am Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1800 block of Hwy 71 in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 7:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 12:22 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 1:15 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Legion Dr in reference to an unwanted person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 1:40 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2200 block of Walnut in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

JUNE 25

At 6:47 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 700 block of Back St in reference to a wanted person. After further investigation, Esteban Chavez Jr. was arrested on a warrant and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 9:19 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Jane Dr in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 11:19 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 300 block of North St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 10:45 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Sainas responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.

At 3:26 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1400 block of Walnut St in reference to a possible Theft. Information was received.

JUNE 26

At 5:45 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2200 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. The building was found secure.

At 6:00 am Ofc. Salinas, along with Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Prairie St in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 7:03 am Ofc. Salinas, along with Ofc. Haman responded to the 1400 block of Live Oak in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 8:32 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Haman responded to the 2000 block of Milam in reference to an escort.

At 4:30 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.
