Columbus Police Report

JUNE 27

At 8:34 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 800 block of Martin Luther King St in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.

At 10:30 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1000 block of Washington in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was not located.

At 11:00 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Bonham St in reference to an escort.

At 11:40 am Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 400 block of Wallace St in reference to possible criminal mischief. Information was received.

At 12:57 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located, and all was found to be in order.

At 3:34 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 100 block of Railroad Ave in reference to an animal complaint. The animal was located and taken to the city pound.

At 5:20 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 1200 block of Front St in reference to a possible criminal mischief. Information was received.

At 7:28 pm Ofc. Pospisil responded to the 900 block of Milam St in reference to Burglary of a vehicle. After further investigation, information was received, case pending.

JUNE 28

At 7:20 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2500 block of Hwy 71 in reference to an alarm. After further investigation, the building was found secure.

At 10:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 2100 block of Milam St in reference to a vehicle accident. A crash report was completed.

At 12:55 pm Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Legion Dr in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, all was found to be in order.

At 8:44 pm Lt. Lara, along with Ofc. Smith responded to the 2100 block of Milam St in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 6:35 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 600 block of Preston St in reference to possible Theft. Information was received.

At 6:50 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 100 block of Legion Dr in reference to a suspicious person. The subject was located and all was found to be in order.

At 7:00 am Sgt. Wilson responded to the 1300 block of Fannin in reference to a welfare concern. The subject was located and removed from the property.

At 12:38 pm Det. Kent responded to the 100 block of Shult Dr in reference to a wanted person. After further investigation, Kelly Rencher out of La Grange was arrested for a warrant and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

At 4:10 pm Ofc. Smith, along with Lt. Lara, responded to the 800 block of Walnut in reference to Theft. After further investigation, Darrell Ford, of Columbus, was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Theft. He was taken to the Colorado County Detention Center.

JULY 1

At 7:25 am Det. Kent responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

JULY 2

At 7:35 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 100 block of Sweetbriar Dr in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officers arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 2:30 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1500 block of Montezuma St in reference to an escort.

4:32 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 10:58 pm Ofc. Haman, along with Sgt. Neumann responded to the 1100 block of Front St in reference to a possible disturbance. After further investigation, the subjects were located, separated, and removed from the property.

JULY 3

At 7:38 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 600 block of Spring St in reference to a civil matter. Advice was given.

At 8:59 an Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2000 block of Milam St in reference to an escort.

At 11:47 am Ofc. Salinas responded to the 2100 block of Walnut in reference to a 911 hang-up. Officer arrived and learned it was accidental.

At 1:04 pm Ofc. Salinas responded to the 1100 block of Milam in reference to an escort.
