Like the other schools in Colorado County the defending Class 3A State Champion Columbus Cardinals are featured in the new College Football video game.
People playing the game simply have to download and import the team, which is easy to do, from the College Football 26 menu.
Once players do that, they are able to start their high school career where they will complete challenges to help with their recruitment process. On top of that the person playing the game gets to wear the Cardinals uniforms as well as play at Memorial Field.
But the fun and excitement does not stop there because some of the Cardinals are actually featured in the game. For example, if someone boots up College Football 26 and starts a Road to Glory mode starting out in Columbus High School as a quarterback, they will be pleasantly surprised as to who their weapons are.
Lining up in the shot gun formation, standing next to the quarterback is none other than Bryan Salazar. On the outside in the receiver position is Braylon Fisher and Brennan Hicks.
Now, there is no way to see their first names, but given the fact that Salazar was wearing number 25, Fisher was rocking number 11 and Hicks sported number 6, it’s safe to say those are the real Cardinals.
It puts Columbus in the spotlight even more after winning the State Championship as they now have an opportunity to receive some national recognition.
