A huge thank you to Great Southern Wood Preserving / YellaWood for inviting Columbus Volunteer Fire Department out for a preplan walk-through. Their team gave the department a great tour of the plant and helped us identify potential hazards, fire hydrant locations, evacuation areas and emergency shut-offs — all critical information in case of an emergency.
