The Colorado Co. Fair Association welcomes the youth of Colorado County to compete in the Colorado Co. Fair Little Ms., Little Mr., and Junior Miss pageant contests.
The contests will be held at the Colorado Co. Fairgrounds at the Founder’s Hall Saturday, Sept. 6, starting at 5:30 p.m.; Jr. Miss at 6 p.m.
Little Miss and Little Mr. contests are for children 5, 6, or 7 years of age as of Sept 1.
The Jr. Miss Contest follows with contestants being 8, 9, or 10 years by Sept. 1. Contestants must reside in Colorado County to participate in the contest.
The contest entry fee is $25 and consists of an on-stage interview before a panel of out-of-county Judges. Western attire is optional yet recommended with the score being 90 percent on stage personality, and 10 percent appearance. Contest winners must be available to ride in the Fair parade and in area parades and participate in Fair events and parents are required to help maintain and decorate the Fair float.
Little Miss and Little Mr. contestants should check in at the Fairgrounds Hall no later than 5 p.m. and Jr Miss contestants check in next at 5:15 p.m.

Items needed: Head shot photo, entry card returned with $25 entry fee. Deadline to enter: Thursday, Aug. 28 by 4:30 p.m. to the Chamber office.
