Eagle Lake Mayor Timothy Kelley issued a proclamation honoring the life and dedicated public service of Chris Parker, proclaiming Aug. 16, as “CHRIS PARKER DAY” in Eagle Lake. Parker was an active and cherished member of our community, known for his commitment, dedication and love for his family. His passion for being there for his grandchildren and watching them play sports counted among his favorite things to do; and as an Eagle Lake businessman, Parker never met a stranger.
