COLORADO COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT

JUNE 1

At approximately 4:59 a.m. deputy Cantu was dispatched to 107 West Union Street, Eagle Lake, regarding a physical altercation that occurred at an unknown address on Yett Street located in Incorporated Eagle Lake, Texas. Information received and report taken.

At approximately 1:23 p.m. deputy Cantu was dispatched to the 5000 block of south Interstate 10 service Road and alleyton regarding the theft of a tractor. Information received in a report taken.

At approximately 902 p.m. deputy Johnson was dispatched to the 4200 block SH 71 Columbus Texas in reference to a vehicle fire. After an investigation, a report was taken. Case for information only.

JUNE 3

Deputy Mican was contacted by employees at the district appraisal’s office in reference to some threats being made. It was reported the appraisal district received some threats through an online appeal. Information was gathered. Information only. Case pending.

At approximately 2:02 p.m. deputy Blair was dispatched to make a public service with a complainant and reference to a possible theft that occurred in the 6000 block of SH 71 South in Altair, Texas. Case cleared information only.

JUNE 4

At approximately 11:52 a.m. deputy Lopez arrived at the Colorado County courthouse to file a mental health warrant on a female subject. The mental health warrant was authorized by the county judge. The mental health warrant was then served on the female subject and was a leader admitted to a psychiatric facility for treatment.

At approximately 1:12 p.m. deputy Leihardt was dispatched to the 1200 block of FM 109 in New Ulm in reference to a terroristic threat. Criminal Trespass warnings were served. Case closed.

At approximately 5:53 p.m. deputy blaha was dispatched to the 1200 block of FM 109 in reference to a disturbance. After further investigation, Jacqueline Hohrick, age 39 of New Ulm, Texas, was arrested for assault by contact - family violence. Case cleared by arrest.

JUNE 5

At approximately 10:20 a.m. deputy Schoope was dispatched to the TA travel center located at 6701 US 90 in reference to fraud. A report was completed.

JUNE 6

At approximately 1:22 p.m. deputy Lopez was dispatched to the Texana clinic in reference to a mental health transport. The patient was transported to the designated psychiatric facility for treatment.

At approximately 3:31 p.m. deputy Leihardt was dispatched to the Colorado County sheriff’s office lobby to meet with an individual in reference to a possible terroristic threat that occurred in the 6600 block of cats spring road. An information report was generated.

At approximately 3:14 p.m. deputy Schoppe was dispatched to the Colorado County sheriff’s office lobby located at 2215 Walnut Street in reference to a violation of a protective order. A report was completed.

At approximately 2:44 a.m. deputy Smith was dispatched to Lupton Street in Rock Island in reference to a person having a mental crisis. Upon further investigation, the subject at the above address was transported to the Colorado County sheriff’s office for screening by Texana and later to a behavioral health center in Sugar Land, Texas. Cases cleared.

Deputy Weido spoke with a complainant who resides on 4th Street and Rock Island, Texas. The complainant reported that he had been missing 4 head of cattle since May 23rd 2025. Information was taken to generate a report.

JUNE 7

At approximately 1:35 a.m. deputy Navarro observed a pickup truck not having a legal rear license plate. He conducted a traffic stop on State Highway 71 South and County Road 103. Investigation revealed the driver, Sheldon Cordell Fry, age 29 of Wharton, Texas, was driving while intoxicated. Case cleared by arrest.

At approximately 7:40 a.m. deputy Blair initiated a traffic stop in the 1100 block of FM 102 on a truck for an obscured trailer license plate. After investigation, Junior Cerrano Burgos, was issued a citation and Delgado’s record service arrived on location and took possession of the truck tractor and trailer. Case cleared by issuance of citation.

At approximately 8:34 a.m. deputy Lopez was dispatched to County Road 210 and farm to market 2434 and reference to property damage.

At approximately 9:29 a.m. deputies were notified for property damage on County Road 79 in Eagle lake, Texas. A report was generated for information purposes only.
