COLUMBUS LIONS RECOGNIZED AT DISTRICT LEVEL

Several Columbus Lions attended the District 2-S5 (Texas Lions District 2-S5) meeting on August 16th. (from left to right: Steve McCullough, Grace McCullough, Frank Piper, Lin Baron, Kim Menke, PDG Vance Elliott, James Yearwood, Nancy Williams). The Columbus Lions Club was recognized for the most gain in membership! This is the third time the club has added the most new members in the district. Columbus Lion Past President Kim Menke accepted the award from current District Governor Kelli Biskup Higgins of Giddings. 1st Vice District Governor Steve Mc-Cullough also addressed the crowd. Attendance was excellent and the meeting was thorough and informative. WE SERVE.
